Material Fact

São Paulo, March 1st, 2020 - Iguatemi Empresa de Shopping Centers S.A. (“Iguatemi” or “Company”) [B3: IGTA3] hereby informs its shareholders and the market in general that, with the advancement of COVID-19 (coronavirus) in the country, the Company’s shopping centers will have their operating hours as follows:

  • Iguatemi São Paulo, JK Iguatemi, Pátio Higienópolis, Market Place (São Paulo/SP), Iguatemi Alphaville (Barueri/SP), Iguatemi Campinas, Shopping Galleria (Campinas/SP), Iguatemi Rio Preto (São José do Rio Preto/SP) and Iguatemi Esplanada (Sorocaba/SP): following the recommendation made by the Governor of São Paulo, João Dória Jr., at a press conference, Shopping Centers Iguatemi São Paulo, JK Iguatemi, Pátio Higienópolis, Market Place, Iguatemi Alphaville, Iguatemi Campinas, Shopping Galleria, Iguatemi São José do Rio Preto e Iguatemi Esplanada will remain open to the public from Monday to Saturday at reduced hours, from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm, and on Sundays and holidays, from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Specific operations that are essential to the well-being of our clients may operate at alternative times.
  • Iguatemi Ribeirão Preto (Ribeirão Preto/SP): following the recommendation made by the Governor of São Paulo, João Dória Jr., at a press conference, Shopping Center Iguatemi Ribeirão Preto will remain open to the public from Monday to Friday at reduced hours, from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm, and on Saturdays and Sundays, from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm, only for the operation of essential services: pharmacies, health clinic, supermarkets and restaurants. The remaining stores will be closed to the public.
  • Iguatemi São Carlos (São Carlos/SP): following the recommendation made by the Governor of São Paulo, João Dória Jr., at a press conference, Shopping Center Iguatemi São Carlos will remain open to the public at reduced hours, from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm, only for the operation of essential services: pharmacies, health clinic and supermarkets. The remaining stores will be closed to the public.
  • Iguatemi Porto Alegre and Praia de Belas Shopping Center (Porto Alegre/RS): following the guidelines of decree nº 55.771 of the Porto Alegre Municipality, between the dates of February 27th and March 7th, Shopping Centers Iguatemi Porto Alegre and Praia de Belas will remain open at reduced hours from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm only for the operation of essential services: pharmacies, health clinics, supermarkets and restaurants. The remaining stores will be closed to the public.
  • I Fashion Outlet Novo Hamburgo (Novo Hamburgo/RS): following the guidelines of decree nº 55.771 of the Porto Alegre Municipality, between the dates of February 27th and March 7th, we are temporarily suspending the operation of the I Fashion Outlet Novo Hamburgo.
  • I Fashion Outlet Santa Catarina (Tijucas/SC): following the guidelines of decree nº 1.172 of the Government of the Santa Catarina State, on February 27th/28th and March 6th/7th, we are temporarily suspending the operation of the I Fashion Outlet Santa Catarina.
  • Iguatemi Brasilia (DF): following the guidelines of decree nº 41.894 issued by the Governor of the Federal District, Ibaneis Rocha, starting February 28th, Shopping Center Iguatemi Brasilia will remain open at reduced hours from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm only for the operation of essential services: pharmacies, health clinics, supermarkets and restaurants. The remaining stores will be closed to the public.

These measures aim to ensure the safety and health of all customers, storeowners, employees and suppliers.

We are attentive to potential new determinations and recommendations of the Public Power and we will make the necessary changes in the measures mentioned above if necessary.
